Who decides, and what is recorded.
AI Associates prepare; your team decides
An AI Associate prepares each result, such as an availability answer or a set of calendar entries. The reviewer you name checks it, and court-date entries are delivered only after an attorney approves them.
Nothing is written into your systems
Performis delivers files and answers for your team to use. Connections to your systems, where they exist, are read-only.

When the workflow is set up, we agree with your account owner who reviews and approves each kind of work.

Each run’s steps and when they happened, each approval, and changes your team makes, such as retiring a correction.

- Kept in your account with where it applies, checked before it is kept, and retired whenever you choose.
- Reference rules we maintain
- Such as court counting rules: the same for every customer, and updated by Performis.
- Across customers
- Each AI Associate’s track record is shown as counts and averages across the businesses it works for, only where at least five engagements contribute. Your documents, answers and corrections are not shown to other customers. A correction may be used, de-identified, to test AI Associates only where your agreement allows.

How we protect your information.
- Files you upload
- Deleted once they have been read. The answers and calendar files prepared from them are kept with the run.
- Completed work
- Each run, with the answers and files it produced, is deleted 90 days after it completes.
- What stays longer
- Guidance your team accepts stays in your account until you retire it, so the workflow keeps applying it. The record of each run’s steps and approvals is kept after the run itself is deleted.
- When an engagement ends
- Under the launch-partner agreement, Performis deletes your data and outputs and confirms it in writing, except copies in routine backups or where the law requires otherwise.
- AI models
- Work is prepared with Anthropic’s Claude models, so the documents and data a run uses are sent to Anthropic to produce its answers. Our agreement commits Performis not to use your data to train AI models. AI Associates improve from the guidance your team accepts, which stays in your account, not by training a model.
- Encryption
- Your documents and outputs are stored in Performis’s Google Cloud environment, encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Separation between customers
- Every request in the workspace is checked against your account, and records belonging to another customer are not returned.
- The Performis team
- Performis staff with administrator access, including the people who set up and support your workflow, can see its runs and corrections.
- SOC 2
- We are preparing for a SOC 2 Type II examination.
